For iOS and Android app development it takes the least amount of time, effort and knowledge, without sacrificing power and flexibility.
I have been using it for 10 years and there is NOTHING that compares to it. Although like ALL development software, it's not perfect.
I don't have a programming background, but with LC, I have been able to put 7 apps in the Apple App Store with ratings of 4 stars or more and 3 of with have 5 star ratings. I could not have done it without LiveCode.
